Sopwith Camel F1 Bi-Plane

The type first saw service with the RFC, (Royal Flying Corp), from June 1917, on the Western Front in France. This aircraft type was later made famous as the fighter flown by "Biggles", the fictional RFC / RAF ace brought to life by the author CAPTAIN W.E. JOHNS.

Just another example of one of the bi-planes we can build.

The model has a fuselage length of approx.46cm, and is hand carved from mahogany wood. Available in ANY LIVERY. Gear-Down models can be displayed on their under-carriage.
