De-Havilland DH86 Express Model / Imperial Airways "Dorado"

The first ever aircraft to fly into Hong Kong airport, in March 1936.

This model was commissioned by Hong Kong Airport to celebrate 80 years of aviation history, and was on display at a special exhibition in Hong Kong during April 2016, now on permanent display in the British Airways Lounge at Hong Kong Airport.

Hand built and painted from mahogany wood, our standard size desk-top model has an 18 inch/46cm fuselage.

Any aircraft in the Imperial Airways fleet may be specified for construction.
